Have you ever worked with a staffing agency to find a job? I have and over the years the results have been mixed. Pre-pandemic they were a great resource to stand in the gap when I was trying to find something quick. Post pandemic tho, the experience has not been so great. I’m looking at leveraging them again in my next job search, but I may be too high up the ladder now.

I’ve recently transitioned from Travel Customer Service role (8 YOE) to Analyst in the same LOB. Earlier I resolved travel queries through calls/emails, but now my role is to analyse travel spending on Amex cards. Now I want to remain in analysis field and grow. I currently only use SQL, Power-BI and MS-Suite. What should I learn further? Which tools or is there a course I should do? I’ve only done Graduation and thinking of doing PGDM in Data Analytics or BI.
Any suggestions?

My dad who lives in Asia just announced that he had a medical issue. I’m starting to enter the age where I’m going to take care of him financially. It’s a $2,000 hospital bill which in the US is nothing compared to what it represents there (which he can’t afford). He’s going to be fine!
