How much can I ask from BNY Mellon for the role of Lead Full-Stack Engineer.

Which is better to join @capgemini or @BNY?
I got a call from HR and offer discussion was over couple of weeks back and still waiting for them to send me final mail to release offer. May I know if they take this much time to release offer, when I did a follow up call after 10 days they said they are waiting for some approval to release offer.
Any ideas i still have chances to get offer? BNY Mellon

They are showing that they are very busy and important . In reality 😀 they don't have any work 😂😆. How do I know .. my.manager use to behave the same way . Haha 😂😆
Some are genuinely buzy and some are not ..those not also keep the status as busy to present themselves as busy so that people can be fooled but they don't understand their managers are smarter than them.
After COVID WFH era, not only in BNY but all the employees of companies responding the same way as you mentioned.
Because of WFH, there’s no proper timing managed. Managers are expecting employees to work 24x7, so don’t blame others. You will also do the same thing for non priority contacts.
But we respond to friends and colleagues who don’t expect for our work support or KT.
All this because of negative side of WFH, don’t get offended, this is the fact. If you are in need of others support, mention that in common call and schedule team call and meet them.
Yes , they delay is there everywhere ; esp if the senior is Indian - I don’t have any grudge on ourselves but I have noticed it ; I interact with almost all regions including China Russia ; the response is quick but you ping your line head (Indian National) my own boss - it’s like radio silence ( msg would have been viewed) even the leave is not approved on time ; they think if they delay then it’s like they are more busy and similarly joining calls / meets is also delay; gives them more value - as per them 🤔
I have shared my opinion with the context of original post. And suddenly you speak about waiting for response of leave permission pings.
First learn to post according with the discussion topics, then teach others on reading.
Yes some people are really busy. they get constant pings from many different folks, a lot of emails and a plenty of work to do.. so don’t have real time and energy to respond to all the pings in a timely manner. Just because you/we are free at that time, doesn’t mean person should be free as well . And this goes both ways- up or down the hierarchy
