Got an offer of 8LPA from JPMC for the role of Test Analyst. YOE - 1.4 years, Location - Malad, Mumbai.
I would like to know how much I can negotiate with the HR on this offer.
I don't have any other offer in hand.

I'm a junior associate. A couple people have left my small firm and I'm now the lone associate at our main office. I've now been told I am "temporary senior associate or permanent or partner whatever that results in." Please send help. I'm just a baby attorney still.

I decided to move on from my job of 7 years, I had no days off, It was getting overwhelmed, I just wanted to spend quality family time, so I applied at another place and I was hired on the spot, so my old employer offered me what I wanted and I decided to stay, so my question is ….. how in a professional way do I tell my new employer that I not coming to work with them. Does anyone have a case they never really felt good about even after it ended? There are a few where I know I did my job correctly and to the letter, but the outcome has never satisfied me or it didn't get solved how I would like it to. Did I do the wrong thing if it's still on my mind years later? How do you know that your choice was the right one when people still got hurt?
