I joined as a Project Manager in an organisation in 2022.
Never been a project manager before.

1 year passed. Now I am always exhausted and feel burnt out after working 12,13 hours each day.
I am not Learning anything new or anything technical.

My job is mostly sending emails to clients and talk to them when any project get delayed and talk to internal teams when delay from their end.

I feel like leaving my job completely, sit for few months & learn new skill

Is anyone feeling especially burnt out lately? I’ve had to work weekends for the last month. I know deals are sporadic but it feels like they have consistently ended up this way where I’m forced to work weekends. Getting frustrated because pay has also slowed down.

How is WLB at a MM fund different from a MF? I’ve heard MF are worse on average, but what makes it worse? Is it just the hours, or is the work also significantly different?

I have recently received an offer from Morgan stanley for bangalore location.
I wanted to know the following :
1. Work culture
2. Work life balance

I’m reviewing my resume getting ready to start my job search and have a question for recruiters, hiring managers. I’m looking for a role brand-side not agency side. Specialist roles aside, such as digital, when you see someone describing themselves as a “generalist marketer” is this a resume you’d pass on? My past roles have been such that I do a lot of marketing projects, tasks etc. but I’m not a specialist. I’m worried if I use this terminology I won’t even be considered for a role. Thank you
