Hello everyone ,

If I join cisco in jan, 2025 will I be eligible for appraisal in 2025 ? What's the usual cut off dates to be eligible for appraisals everywhere year ?

Need some advice on this and any help would be very insightful.

Yup you will get appraisal if you survive the half yearly layoffs, appraisal generally happen around sept-oct(this time you will know your bonus amount and hike percentage) but for first year it will be slightly lower if you have join mid year or let's say around Dec-Jan. It also depends on budget your unit have. Cutoff month would be March - April to be eligible for the appraisal.

I joined in jan 2023 and got appraisal in that years cycle( a small percentage) . But mostly depends on your package and team budget.

I am the junior attorney at a small PI firm (5 lawyers). I love my job and my firm, the partners, and my colleagues.
