After 6 years of temporary contracts and unstable situations, I find my dream job in my dream company. All of a sudden the world goes upside down and I get laid off. I start sending hundreds of applications, with only 2 recruiters getting back to me to say I don’t have experience for the job (this is how it works in Italy). Add a terrible health situation in my family and it seems there’s no light at the end of the tunnel. Ugh. 😞

Its tough few weeks for our country. And let’s not forget today is the anniversary of George Floyd’s murder, too. In general I am thankful we live in a country where we can freely speak out against evil acts as they happen - not everyone has that luxury. & for some good news today - it’s my birthday!
