Hello fishes! A very close friend of mine wants to resign from his current company. He has a 90 day unpaid notice period as mentioned in his appointment letter, otherwise he has to pay 3 months basic.

His new employer is asking for the relieving letter.
1. What if the organisation doesn't accept her resignation? 2. What actions(or legal actions) can he take if they do not accept his resignation or don't provide the relieving letter.
