I hove done Btech. I joined Morningstar recently and completed 4 months. The work I am doing here is not at all technical, its kind of data collection(US SHIFT). But in the JD they mentioned we will be working on sql powerbi etc. I feel like I am stuck here there is no growth and I wanna make my career in tech only. I am thinking to resign as I complete 6 months here. Then hunt for Tech roles. Is my decision fair or should I wait a year in morningstar and then switch to tech role?

Should I be worried about exiting from a senior associate at kpmg to an associate in strategy in industry? They stated they are hiring associates based on 2 - 4 years experience and I have 2.5 years

How long did it take you to receive your first promotion? I have 3 years of work experience, currently at my 3rd agency, and third associate position. Four people on my brand team have been promoted (across levels and departments, but none in PM). I'm getting sick of being pumped up with empty praise if others are actually being rewarded with accolades.

I’m in an AM200 firm, but our office is relatively small with historical only 1-2 junior associates at a time. Need help: I got an in house counsel offer for a venture fund. I’m a 4th year. 275 50 bonus 50 options every year. Full benefits covered work anywhere. I’m panicking this is dead end and I’ll never move on and I should stay in biglaw. Am I crazy? Am I stuck in biglaw mindset?

Any idea why certain of the larger biglaw firms do not allow descriptive associate website bios unlike the more middle v100 firms?
