Sooner or later you'll realise you're a trash. I mean not from my perspective but from your own. Because you keep self respect below anything. There's no such thing as love rather infatuation or attraction simply. Happens to lot of people. But when you come out of it. You never go back. What if 5 years later when you both are married and she suddenly starts making you look trash again? Ready to pay alimony? Divorce? Mental harrassment? Then why go for it.

Prevention is better than cure and most cost effective let me tell you.

It's your choice honestly. Whether you're a man or a woman. It is same for everyone.

That's totally fine brother! Sometimes mind can't help us and never listens. Let that feeling sink, tell yourself that it's ok what you're feeling. I have been into the same thing in my school days and then now I can't stop using cuss words against her and for me for all the time I thought good about her.

All I will say is, accept it. If you're sincere and have self respect, tell your inner self that how important you are then anyone else..

Earlier I used to randomly love or fantasise about multiple girls. But after her I am not falling in love with any other girl. Even if I start thinking then absolutely this girl comes in my mind and all other girl's thoughts simply evaporate.

Now coming to her behaviour towards me. I think she doesn't even want to be friends with me. When she gets stuck in her deliverables, I help her out. But when I need her help, she simply refuses to help. Some of her words are- "Why can't you do". Another time: "Can't you do yourself." Third time: "I am busy with other work." But I see her mostly offline. All these times I helped her out when she or someone senior asked me to help her out. Sometimes she even called me "bro". I really don't want to be in love with her as she called me "bro". But again I start loving her. I don't know what has happened to me.(I have never expressed my feelings to her nor I would).

Just my thoughts 💭..

Having Feelings for someone is not avoidable.

We feel love for anyone for their behaviour, their actions, beauty etc or just infatuation from the start or love at first sight. This is normal behaviour anyone can have.

Having a partner you love is a great thing but see the cost or compromises you may need to make.
From your post, I feel she doesn't have any feelings for you. We can't make someone love us, it should be a natural thing.
She has disrespected you twice that shows she thinks you as not someone important.

Also as a co-worker, I think professionally she should have helped you unless she is really busy with something else or at least she should see what is your issue.

You are keep getting feelings about her bcoz you are with her since 4 yrs. Once you go far from her, make new friends, this feeling will go away.

Now the point is what you want to do next ?
Don't spend much of your valuable time, effort on things that doesn't have future.
You'll end up regretting in future.

No one's gonna come and save you when you are in trouble.
Focus on your priorities, build yourself.

MM shop, inv team role, I did a final round last week (my XXth IV so far) with one of the GPs. I honestly thought it went great. Haven’t heard a thing since though. Recruiter thinks I’m still in it cause of Christmas-Hol.

What do we think: Am I still in it or not a chance?

Associate at an AmLaw 100 firm doing patent work. I applied to a part time masters program to try to pivot to a different technical field (still doing patent work, but in something that interests me more than what I’m doing now). Do I try to stick it out at the firm while getting the masters, ask for a reduced hours schedule, or get a part time, non-legal job so I can focus more on the program (one year).

3L with mostly A’s and B’s. I am having the worst luck trying to find work for after school and my experience working with lawyers has left me completely dejected. I cannot get an interview to save my life. I was so excited to get an externship summer after 2L with a small business and IP firm only to get yelled at on the phone a few times for not doing an assignment correctly. Mind you, I was working FOR FREE as it was a school connected externship. That made me never want to work in the law.
