I’ve been at my (smaller) agency almost 5yrs and got one raise (a nice $12k bump) during that time—is that sufficient? Is one increase in that span normal? I also recognize being somewhere 5 years is rare these days. The honeymoon period at any agency seems to be 2.5—3yrs before bolting. Not complaining, just asking. I have 1 year experience as an internal business consultant, 3 years experience as a team manager with project management responsibilities and a background in Account Management and Sales prior to all that. I have been on the job hunt for months and haven’t been able to snag a single interview. I’m starting to feel pretty worthless. Does anyone have any suggestions for jobs or companies that may be interested in this type of experience?
