Hi, I am new to Canada and currently living in Vancouver, BC. I was looking for opportunities in the Financial Services industry in the Metro Vancouver Area. I have about 3 years of experience in the Banking/Financial Services and HealthTech industry and worked alongside IBM and PwC in developing and implementing cutting-edge FinTech products for business clients of a Financial Institution and led the Finance and data science team at a Health tech startup. Let me know if anyone can help me.

Haha welcome to Canada. I still work for the US for that same reason - there is almost nothing here. They hire only if you know someone.
,,,kinda makes it hard to know someone when you just moved here, I know my spouse, that is it LOL.
I am told you need to go to job fairs, networking events, reach out to HR on LinkedIn but I really don't know for sure. Good luck
Thank you

My wife is self employed :) - but seriously - why is there so few jobs here?! I thought this was like, oilfield country and had a decent economy here similar to that of the states?!
