Hey all, I was let go from my position as the sole HR person at a non-profit. I handled everything an HRBP would as well as provided strategy and counsel to the c-suite. I think I am done in HR. Being the parent in the room to a bunch of adults is exhausting. Having the general population think that the work is meaningless doesn’t help. Sending out 100’s of resumes and getting only two interviews and 100’s of auto generated rejections souls crushing. Feeling very defeated.
