Can someone give some input on the difference between an Underwriter and an Underwriting Analyst? I'm finding a lot of companies use this title synonymously.

How does underwriting compare to PIP litigation in terms of flex time (ability to stop/start work throughout day, work at 2 am if needed, etc)

For example.. in PIP Litigation I can review my suits at 2 am if needed (as a result of having a rough day or other emergency) and still be in compliance

Out of curiosity. How would a company view a potential candidate who has a period of unemployment to study for the CPA. Hi! I am preparing to rent out my condo in Alexandria (off edsall road) in the spring. Anyone have any tips for first time landlords? I’m planning to work with a rental mgmt company that has 3 properties in my complex. They’ll charge 1 month rent for the marketing and 7.9% mgmt fee. I am moving to a lower COLA and don’t mind paying for the mgmt, but I haven’t found a good cash flow calculator to forecast taxes, etc. Any guidance would be appreciated! Thanks.
