Hey everyone! Can anyone share what the tech and data science hierarchy looks like at Amgen India from entry-level on up?
If someone joins as a Data Scientist, what does the career ladder look like and what's the next step up? Also, how do promotions work there, is it based on standard performance reviews, or do you actually have to wait and apply for internal vacancies to move up?
I guess it's Data Scientist -> Senior Data Scientist -> Manager - > Senior Manager -> Associate Director -> Director..
I am not sure of this hierarchy but this is what I had observed across multiple profiles
It starts with associate level i.e L3, L4 would be Data Scientist or ML Engineer or Data Engineer
L5 is where the IC lead or managerial starts. Typically its Sr Data Scientist (IC) or Sr ML Engineer or Sr DE
or Manager - DS/ML/DE
L6 would be Principal DS/ML/DE (IC) or Sr Manager (Team role)
