Hey everyone, I've come for some guidance. I just found the character limit so I may leave some extra information in the comments if needed.
I need a new direction. 6+years at this manufacturing plant at nearly every work center and various positions and my most recent illness is showing me my employer doesn't care much for me as a person and I need another way to provide for the family. Inventory knowledge, forklift certified and awarded for engagement in shipping/receiving.

OP- Originally graduated college with my bachelor's degree in music education and taught elementary and secondary music and band for 5 years along with the various internships and private lessons. I wouldn't mind giving lessons again, although I need practice, but I don't see myself working in my states schools again. I've done amateur instrument repair and enjoyed it.
I think my newest fixation though is centered around gardening/farming/horticulture. Specifically anything focused on native species and sustainable/regenerative agriculture methods. It'd be a dream to have enough land to farm for myself with these methods and help others do the same, but I've got a long way to go.
In the meantime I need to pay the bills and take care of the family while somehow "growing" into my vision. If there's anything that can give me good flexibility and provide me good reward I'm absolutely not afraid to learn. I think I'm finally putting together what life i want, I just need help choosing the path to get there.
Thanks for listening, and apologies for the long post. I truly appreciate any support or advice you can give me. Best wishes!

Thanks for sharing your story, it sounds like you’ve built a really strong foundation of skills across operations, shipping/receiving, and inventory management. Those are very transferable to roles in logistics, warehouse supervision, supply chain coordination, and even production planning. The key is packaging your experience in a way that highlights your certifications, reliability, and leadership recognition. I know a job search specialist who helped my brother land his dream role, and he could be a great resource for you too. You can share your resume with him at georgerobinsonhiringteam . gmail . com

Studying for FAR and it gives me so much anxiety. There’s just so much information. I’m taking notes and reading. I don’t plan on listening to the lectures but I feel like I’m moving so slow. Advice?

Anyone switched from Becker to Wiley and regretted it? I did and though I appreciate the bite-sized lectures, I don't enjoy it as much as Becker. My access for Becker expired already and I don't want to spend 2k again 😭 such a tough choice to make but I feel like I'm not getting what I need from Wiley.
