My partner and I created a cost-effective subscription so small / medium-sized businesses could focus more on running their business and strategies without the need to hire in-house, manage multiple freelancers, or fight with agencies.

We do this with a proprietary Workspace so marketing managers can delegate projects, connect with our team, and download completed work / files.

Does anyone have any recommendations on how to conduct the post-clerkship job search if the goal is big law? I am coming from a state appellate clerkship in a major market.

I’m currently a 2nd year associate in commercial finance. I’ve realized I don’t enjoy a a strictly transactional practice. I enjoyed litigation matters as a summer (particularly the adversarial nature). Also, love talking and advising clients. I don’t want the litigation lifestyle and appreciate the in-house opportunities of transactional. Assuming that I could switch (or lateral), I’m thinking I may enjoy employment (and the ability to defend and train/advise). I appreciate any insight.

Tax question: Say I am due to owe $50k in capital gains in 2021. What’s to stop me from going out and buying a Tesla and renting it out on Turo for $1,500 per month. I then use bonus depreciation to write off the full expense of the car in year 1, negating the $50k in capital gains owed.

Trying to figure out how best to stream audio to a website.

Before suggesting some of the obvious stuff, let me clarify...

1. Always on, as people navigate the site, it should keep streaming
2. Works as mobile web too (should be foregone these days)
3. Manages prerecorded shows, interstitials/commercials, etc.
4. Support "going live" so the company can break into the stream at any time
5. People can call in (i.e. Clubhouse)

Essentially, AM radio, but streaming.
