Cleared first round and my on-site is next week. It just came to my notice something about visa sponsorship in JD. It states “This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.” I have H1B but I would need H1b transfer and GC sponsorship. Can anyone help me out here.

Starting a new job as an immigration attorney with 4 years of experience at nonprofits doing USCIS filings under my belt but I’m making $75k at a firm with 3 partners, another associate, and about a dozen support staff. My fiancé and I are first time home buyers (both 28 yo) and would like to know what makes more sense: buying an expensive home or buying a lower cost one. Our combined income is around 400K but since we just began working post school, our savings are only $70K right now (also 30K in student loan debt). We’re buying in a high property tax state where taxes could be 4% (think 12K taxes on 600K home). Should we get a 500K house or get a 800K - 900K (which represents most I’m willing to spend)

27, paid off car, student loans left is $18.5k, investments at $22.3k, trying to go to grad school PT by next summer. employer willing to pay $5.5k/yearly, would take me 2.3ish years to complete, projected price would be $23k after tuition reimbursement. what’s the best way to pay through school, i feel like it doesn’t make sense to put money into a 529 if i plan to withdraw so soon? thoughts were max out my 403B, show an AGI of 70K and get low cost student loans out? does this make sense to do?
