Hello! I am a recent graduate of a medical billing and coding program and I’ m finding it really difficult to get a job because most employers are looking for someone with at least 3 years experience. How do I get my foot in the door with no real time experience?

Trying to make a switch in my career to heavily software focused. I’ve been learning C++ using some online courses and I’m learning but I feel like it’s not practical when I want to apply to a job. Any good recommendations on how I can learn how to write/debug to get into a software entry level job

Have about 1 YOE in my current T2 firm. Just received a strategy offer for industry. TC is just about ~$105k for 45 hrs/wk. The industry job has an AMAZING culture, very mission driven, and aligned with what I want to do long term, but potentially with limited career growth. Next year T2 consulting comp is around ~$110k-120k for 60 hrs/wk. Is it too early to exit? Would appreciate any advice from the more experienced fish!

The job entails not only to bill for dme (cms 1500) but also to follow up on any denials or appeals, amongst other administrative duties. My questions are is it typical to have 1 person doing both the billing and denials within a new vertical for all ins.? So I’m thinking of taking a pharmacy tech course at my local community college. I think I bombed a case interview with Chartis for an associate consultant position. The case was in excel and required me to manipulate the data via share screen with the interviewer. I couldn’t get some functions to work and was struggling to go through the 16 page PDF of data. I had several answers correct but needed to walk through the remaining questions with some guidance. My other 3 case interviews went well and I had great conversation with the partner for behavioral interview. Thoughts?
