Hey, I’ve been a graphic designer for 7 years working in various industries and I got made redundant back in June last year and I’m really struggling to find a new graphic design job. It’s such a hard industry, does anyone have any tips on how I can get my application to stand out in the 200+ applications?

Also has anyone tried that AI auto apply job site? I was thinking of giving it a try but it’s expensive and I’m a bit apprehensive.

Hi fellow nurses! I am an Emergency Nurse with 3 years of nursing experience to include med -surg. I am looking to transition to a lower acuity position such as pre op, or honestly work remote as the work life balance is not fulfilling for me. I’ve been approached my by company that one of our large clients (who im currently project managing for) is looking for a consultant of sorts, and if they hire us, I’d be the first person asked to take on this consultant role. This isn’t something my company typically offers and would greatly change the scope of my role. Has anyone ever taken on a role like this? If so, were you able to negotiate a percentage of the consulting fee? Or was it a bump in salary during the project?

Getting ready to take on a project with a local real estate company branding a new subdivision but I haven’t done one of these in a few years and don’t want to undercut myself on compensation.

Recently at my company there was some concern with salaries due to an accidental email going out with starting salaries for new job postings.. long story short, is it common for different departments to have higher salaries for the same title? For example a senior graphic designer in brand verse product marketing?
