Hi all, did anyone doj get postponed? My doj was on oct 10th that was postponed to 11th, again got a revised offer letter for 15th. Contacted poc and helpdesk they are saying bgv is pending. Does anyone what’s the reason onboarding is getting delayed. Did anyone face this before?

Yes, Due to BGV it can happened, I am facing same issue as well. last 2 company deducted the PF amount from the salary?
if yes then no need to worry your BGV will be completed soon.

Yes it’s deducted and it’s almost more than 15 years time spent for last two companies. If they go for earlier than 15 years PF deducted but not available in the PF portal as at that time it was manual paperwork by PF department.

Hi Friends, my joining date is postponed from 8th nov to 15th nov and received 1 letter it's type of cover letter mentioning the new joining date but no new offer letter, as per knowledge in offer letter no joining date is mentioned that's the reason for not sharing new offer letter..but in this chat everyone's joining date is postponed so have you received new offer letter or same 1page cover letter?

Hi everyone, joined yesterday and got the laptop as well. I noticed these points
1. Pls be make sure that contact your poc/HR before 1 week or 3 days before doj, if they don’t pick up text them. Ask them if anything is pending from their end.
2. Call the Helpdesk everyday twice, ask what is pending from their end. Is the BGV or I’d creation this helps you to ask the HR to contact the right team. So that there’s no hustle on the Doj.
3. If it’s all clear you will receive a venue mail before 1 or 2 day of your doj.
4. On the first day of joining pls make sure with the onboarding team that is everything ok to be onboarded if don’t, pls talk or discuss with them in the morning they don’t tell you the reason till the end of the day, whole day will be wasted and then they will postpone your doj.
If you talk to them in the morning if something is pending you can check with your HR then clear if anything’s pending. Once everything is clear then only onboarding team will collect all the documents and onboard you if there’s any communication gap again they will extend the doj.

Same issue with me. My DOJ has been extended 3 times now due to location issue . My LWD was 10 sep and since then I've been waiting to join as I couldn't get any other offer . Now the next joining date is 21st Oct. HR said this time it will be final but let's see .

Ok your POC is picking your call right so ask her/him to talk to BGV team to complete it , So then the on boarding team will respond I think.

Has anyone as landlord got money from the rental assistance program in New York? My tenants has started delaying paying rent way before Covid, but we cut them some slack bc they said it’s bc their grandfather died. When Covid happened, we are still trying to collect missing rent from the past. But then they came up with all the excuses, such as son has asthma, that same grandfather now is sick, etc. And then they just stopped paying completely, said the government will pay for everything.
