Hey all, Happy Monday. Curious for feedback on how you've seen severance offers approached.

My prior companies have always been what I thought of as average: min of 2 weeks plus extra week for every year for ICs, min of 4 weeks plus extra week for every year for managers, etc. for Directors & beyond.

Current co refuses to offer more than 1-2 weeks, max. I had to go to bat recently for a 3 year + manager level only to get 3 weeks and my leadership team is NOT happy with me.

What’s your take on working along side a team in marketing but barely any of your team enjoy the social present, let alone having actual social accounts. Hello, I am in USI GES tax at DUSI. I love my job but not my team and mgmt anymore. I'm a performer and I'm dumped with work of 2 ppl while others are searching for work. I am burned out.

I resigned and accepted a job with EY GDS with a huge pay bump that DUSI can't match but I also gave up my potential promotion for 2023.

I've been feeling bad about putting my papers down and letting go off my promotion but I am really tired. I took up this job as an escape.

Did i do the right thing?
