Can’t agree more, little laugh for the weekend

I allow a lot of autonomy through trust, but sometimes it backfires when the employee is new or doesn’t have much maturity within the given task. I struggled with not wanting to micromanage, but found that at certain short burst intervals it can be helpful. To expand on this, read High Output Management by Andrew Grove. You can’t be there for everyone 100% of the time. You need to ensure you are taking care of yourself. No one likes to be led by a burned out, stressed out leader.
EQ… I’m still working on this myself. But having control of our emotions, especially in challenging times is a must if you want to be a strong leader!
