Anyone know of any boutique consulting firms in Minneapolis that are low travel? Ideally with a healthcare/medtech practice
Here for my check-up. One specific question- do I need a case-study for the first piece? Thank you ♥️ www.shevekanandan.com
What's your firm's sick leave policy?
Nurses are quitting rapidly rejecting vaccine mandates and y’all are trippin about who has the vaccine and who doesn’t? 😵💫😵💫😵💫😵💫
I was laid off from a resource management role, working with employees approaching or on the bench, working with managers to staff projects, and support functions like report creation, scheduling, etc. Roles like this are few and many large consulting firms have frozen internal hiring. Do you think it would be beneficial to get a SHRM cert? Would that help get a "talent related" HR role? Worth the money? I have a background in recruitment as well.
Anyone fly Delta with ORD as their home base? I realize I may need to take connections but is this worth it? Lost EP last year, status matched to Platinum with Delta if having status matters
Has anyone had the conversation on how we get Ss and Ts ready for returning in the fall? I’m not talking about mask usage, hand washing times, physical distancing in classrooms, etc. I don’t think we can expect Ts and Ss to come back and just hop right into academics. Need sometime to process together, get some SEL, be face to face social again, etc. Just wondering if districts out there have gotten a head start on this task.
Perspectives on Managing Director (newly promoted) base and variable comp across big 4 and equivalent firms looks like these days?
6 nights from Marriott platinum elite.. 6 nights til New Years.. worth checking in to some cheap dump to get it?
I lost my last job a few weeks before Christmas last year and it took me a long while to find a new one. Ultimately I ended up moving to a new city for a job I was really excited about. However, within the first few weeks I suffered a major medical setback which led to a crippling bout of depression. I am finally starting to feel like a person again but I'm afraid the ship has sailed on my having success in my new role.
Finished my taxes. Found out I can no longer claim my student loan interest payments because my salary is too high. What a load of crap!
Doing the writing assignment for Lyft operations interview, I feel like I’m over thinking this. Any tips?
Does anyone else feel stifled from the current cancel culture and leftist views many of our peers enforce? My of my friends with similar views remove ourselves from any remotely political topic because we know there would be backlash if we were even imply we had conservative or right wing opinions. Why is it acceptable in a working environment for one side to shove their agenda down other peoples through but not acceptable to have an alternate perspective?
Thoughts on Indexed Universal Life Insurance as an investment vehicle? I hear the pros and cons from the sellers of this, whom I understand gain heavy commissions. But wanted to get thoughts from investors and if this isn't a good vehicle, what alternative investment vehicles do you suggest (outside of stocks, Roth, 401k, and real estate)? Looking to diversify my portfolio. I'm 43, married, income 600k combined, and we have 2 properties worth 3m and investment accounts worth ~2-3m. Thanks!
Anyone here on the tech side of PwC? Someone from PwC reached out to see if I'm interested in a QA Manager role. How good is the quality engineering practice in PwC? Also what's the range like for QA Managers?
W, St. Regis, or Las Alcobas in Mexico City? Also open to high-end boutique hotel recommendations...
In honor of National Voter Registration Day, The New Yorker released the transcript of a previously unpublished interview with James Baldwin, who gave a first-hand account of "Freedom Day 1963," a Black voter-registration drive in Selma, Alabama. Baldwin's descriptions from that day are so vivid and detailed that you can feel the fear and anger of the event. If you have a couple of minutes, I highly recommend you read it.
Me: Your daughter can wait here in the lobby while we do a quick health history, then we'll bring her back to your room. Patient: that's not my daughter, that's my wife
