Know what area of I/O you want to focus on. There is so much different work in I/O, don’t try to be an expert at everything. Or think you are actually applying for jobs if you are just applying for any jobs that says MAIOP. Pick a lane and stick to it.

Korn Ferry is hiring assessment and succession planning project managers and survey work is always a good place to start. Project management work at any firm that specializes in I/o work is also a good start. These firms will seem more boutique than the ones you hear talked about in the main bowl. Stay away from any big 4 consulting. They aren’t our kind of people or do our kind of work

This was so helpful to me too, I am actually just graduating psychology bachelors and want to go into IO masters, and was thinking I should put all energy to get into big consulting company for I O jobs after I O masters (which I will start in 2 years) !What job types would you say prepare you the best for I O jobs in the future?

I’m currently an LLC and looking to assemble an equity deal with an advisor. I don’t know how to set it up with him where he gets his equity in the future when we restructure the entity to a c/s Corp and give out his shares. It doesn’t make sense for us to switch now and get double taxed when we haven’t lifted off the ground. This is pre launch. Any advice?

In weekend checked out VTP Peagusus project in Kharadi possession 2025. Project looks promising but when visited the site accept for the towers rest all be it roads or daily basis shops nothing is there yet but they say that till the time of possession roads and everything will be functional. The rate for 750 sqft carpet 2bhk they are giving for 74lacs and possession is 2023 May. Another 2025 possession 850 sqft carpet 2bhk for 79lacs.Hardly any difference in rate per sqft. Please suggest

There is this big bank where I'd love to work at, and after several interviews for various positions they end up promoting someone from within, even thou I understand it and think it’s good they promote their people, it left me feeling like I'm just being used to comply with the process.
