What are the chances that they would take profile ahead, Interview experience was good, but felt there was a lack of one skill in my profile which i felt might weigh down as per my 1st round of discussion and I've got this email afterwards the interview. Don't they send straight away rejection?

How do you get experience when no one will hire you? I wouldn’t mind hanging a shingle but I feel it’d be irresponsible to do so with no experience. Unlike all of my classmates, I never landed an internship/externship in law school - had only one interview. I was a PT law student, came from a CS background, and worked in IT throughout law school. I passed the bar exam on my first try (Oct 2020) and have only had a couple interviews out of the hundreds of applications I sent out. Any suggestions?
