My company is offering me a performance bonus over my CTC of 2L which will be paid quarterly, but they are asking me stay one more year from now with the organisation. I joined around Feb 2021 and I won't be able to drop resignation till July 2022 if I accept the bonus.

Is it advisable to accept the performance bonus and stay in the organisation or move out after my one year completion which is by Feb 2022

CTC - 10.5 LPA (fixed)

1099 or w-2 ? I have been given the option though the company prefers w-2. It’s a day rate booking couple of months or more (no end date). I already have 1099 from similar company this year and am leaning towards 1099, but I don’t want to be difficult. I do take home office deduction and they are not supplying any equipment. Suggestions?

What is the appropriate amount of time to follow up with a company after they've verbally told you they would be giving you an offer? I don't want to look desperate as I know that's not great for salary negotiation but it's been a week and I really want to follow up!

Hello! I joined a company in the UK 6 months ago, and received a £20,000 gross sign on bonus - clause associated to this however was that I stay for a minimum of 12 months. Unfortunately, the role is really proving to be the wrong fit, and I am looking to leave.

Question for you all - if I resign, I assume I would be expected to pay back the sign on bonus despite me only receiving approx 12k after tax. Anyone know the process for a tax clawback for something like this? Thanks in advance!

It’s a lot more money, more aligned with my career goals, and will have better work life balance. I’d be an idiot to not take this great new opportunity! Has anyone ever dealt with Geico UM case where they insist that a release needs to be signed? Geico extended our client’s policy limits but wants him to sign a release. We offered to sign an acknowledgment of receipt of funds but Geico said without a release signed, they will not issue payment.

Many startups ask for assignments while interviewing for their strategy roles and never come back after you submit it. It wastes a lot of time considering difficult work-life balance in consulting.
