I was offered RSUs for the first time as part of my compensation. I think I understand the concept as such but there are a few intricacies I was looking to clarify. Could anyone let me know if my grant date is 9th nov, 2022 and vesting period is 1 year, will I get RSUs allotted at the price of stock on grant date or vest date (in this case 9th nov, 2023)? Asking because, I am leaving IBM GBS, have told my designation as Senior software engineer ( offer letter had it) to the other company, but got to know that designation IBM will be writing on relieving letter will be application developer.

I will be joining IBM next week in Bangalore ( physical onboarding ) and my hometown is in West bengal , My father is having health problems , mother won't be able to handle everything and no such person we can rely on . Also I am getting married in January . Hence If i stay in Bangalore there will be no one to take responsibility for my marriage prep also . If i convey to my ibm manager will they consider for 4months of WFH?Any documents may have to show?
