I have an experience of 6 years in Production and Application Support. I have worked as middleware administrator as well for Jboss and Weblogic.
But due to the diminishing demands of the role in IT industry , I am planning to switch my career in Devops or AWS which would help me grow.
But I am not sure without any practical knowledge, will I get a job at this many years of experience in a different profile.

Question: do y’all really love this stuff and understand it? Or are you all on the “fake it til you make it” wave? Some even do “night time reading” to catch up on the recent laws. I, on the other hand, cannot wrap my head around it most of the time and would rather not waste energy doing it. Is it just me? Why doesn't the interview panelists inform the candidates if they've cleared the interview or not ?

Whenever I'm taking interviews, I clearly tell the candidates at the end if they should work hard and come back (Rejected) or if they've done well (Selected)

I'm a .net core backend developer and have realised that if I need a better wlb then changing my role/profile is the best way ahead.But what role is good...scrum master becomes too non-tech and will probably not help me earn more than tech folks.Please suggest some other options and how to transition over into that role. Guys I got Canada WP and stamping is also done. I am traveling on 21st May. But in recent lottery draw of H1B, I got selected and my USA H1B visa is also in process (petition is not yet submitted, currently its in documentation status).

So my question is will I be able to travel to Canada? Can I complete rest of visa process from Canada? Interview and stamping all can be done from there? Please guide me on this.
