Need some advice here. I am a fullstack developer with 5 yoe in Angular and Python. My aim is to crack FAANG companies. Now I got an offer from HSBC in a credit risk model monitoring role using Python. It is close to a data engineer role.
My question is that will it be a good idea to shift from development role to a model monitoring role if I want to move to FAANG in the future?Or does FAANG not prefer people who are not in core development roles?Amazon Microsoft Google Adobe PwC EY Citi Barclays JPMorgan Chase

Patience is key. That's what makes a good trader
Only playing with house money so not too upset.
Not holding bags but buying at the top was a rough decision for many! But I do believe it will bounce back and depending what you’re hodling, they should go up in value again (good coins only)
Bitcoin is a scam for 50% who get in late, a get rich quick scheme for the 50% who get in early. I’m guessing your one of the late ones
Tax Accountant 1 - when you mention amazing projects with working technologies, are you talking about how great blockchain is?

Tax Accountant 1 - What makes you think that bitcoin will go up in Value? If your trying to say that these cryptos will eventually be used as standard currency - then you have not thought ahead. Imagine retires with 600k USD in their banks being told that their USD is now worth 5 bitcoins. These same bitcoins that are practically worth nothing if your getting in later than everyone else. And statistically speaking 50% of population will always get in late.
Pwc 1, I don’t think Bitcoin is so great or have much of it, but it is the gold standard of the crypto-currency universe. I see marketcap of overall crypto’s increasing a lot from here as real world use cases and adoptions continue to emerge. Not going to shill what I hold haha but there are some amazing projects out there with working technology, actually doing innovative things. So yes I believe Bitcoin, as well as many of the altcoins, will again rise in value.
And it’s obviously buyers beware. Those who took a chance earlier, reap more rewards. Those who remain skeptical will stay on the sidelines. It’s very similar to the stock market in that way. You may place winning trades or you may not.
PWC1 no I am speaking about cryptocurrency (or digital assets and their networks if you will) being integrated into the technical projects of at least one major tech company.
I also don’t think they will be used as standard currency in their current form, but standard currencies that borrow/steal from current technology will surely become a thing.
