I started a new role about a month ago (exited from T2 consulting) but just got an opportunity to interview with MBB. The resume I sent in is from 3 months back doesn’t reflect this role change. Should I update the firm I’m interviewing with? Or if I get an offer should I explain during the background check process?

Last week I had an interview with Infosys, it didn't go well as per my expectations but i was able to answer most of the questions asked by the panel and they said I will get the feedback from HR team but it's been more than one week and I didn't get any update on this. Yesterday I also wrote an email to the HR who scheduled the interview but still no update.

Should I consider that I am not being selected?

Based in the Bay Area and have 3.5 yr exp in IT Audit mostly SOX with a little SOC exp (ex big 4, couple of regionals) and have been applying to industry (mostly tech companies) since May. made it to final interviews only to find out hiring freezes were in effect or they went with a LCOL candidate.Would like to exit to a GRC role or a mixed role thats 50% sox, 50% varied projects, or a SOX role if the team culture is good. No luck getting in non sox work at current firm.

Please suggest any good sources to prepare for data engineer interviews in GCP, Python, SQL, Pyspark. I am starting a new role with a new company and will have 6 direct reports. Although I have managed teams before in a consulting project setting, this will be the first time in industry. Any recommendations on how to sharpen my management skills (books, blogs, etc). Particularly looking at how to delegate effectively and practical examples on how to run day to day.

I just left t2 strategy for a boutique firm, and I already regret it. I thought I liked consulting but wanted a different culture, but I realize that I don’t like strategy consulting- the timelines are too stressful and I don’t want to travel anymore.
I’ve only been at this company a month- is it way too early to start applying elsewhere? I feel like I made a mistake and I don’t want to miss out on the “great reshuffling” with all these great opportunities.

How do you overcome crippling anxiety working on a deliverable?

3 weeks of pto left and planning on quitting in two months when my year hits and I get to keep my sign on. Anyway I can just work until three weeks before my year mark and then two weeks beforehand tell my team I’m resigning. Or just ask for week of pto and then work abs then get payout?
