Received an offer today from Twilio for a L3 program manager (non tech) for 125 base, 60k equity, and a 15k sign on (essentially 140k TC). I currently make more than this and have offers higher than this on the table. Anyone have insight on how much I can counter?

Looking for some advice: two product management job offers - one at a small fintech firm and another at Amazon. Fintech role is way cooler. But pay is 50% higher at amazon (220k). But nyc is home and i love it. If i accept amazon i’d have to move to seattle where i know no one. Any thoughts?

What does burnout feel like for you?
I’ve been pedal to the metal, launching one or both of my two brands, filling in for departed managers AND direct reports who weren’t replaced, and living through pandemic madness for over a year now. The work never stops but I have never felt less engaged. The word “kickoff” fills me with despair. I’m burned to a crisp, right?

In my offer letter it stated a signing bonus to be paid on the first available payroll after my start date. Its been a month since my first paycheck and HR and the Payroll team are incredibly unresponsive to my inquiry on where this bonus is. What’s the next course of action? Legal? Discussion post: I feel almost all consulting firms are the same. Mbb, big 4 etc. if you are paid enough there is probably less wlb. If there is good wlb there is not much money. Can you single out a company that you can confidently say pays very well and also has good wlb and also has good opportunities etc.?

I joined EY a year ago as a senior and am very fed up with my group. I work on short-term projects with very scrutinized budgets, yet my utilization is supposed to be 100%, so my hours are scrutinized by the teams I work with and leadership. One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.
