My partner is in corporate banking, but he wants to switch to a consulting/strategy-based role. I noticed people with those jobs typically have an MBA, and also majority of the job ads in similar roles has MBA as either a requirement or preferred qualification. So:

1) does MBA actually improve someone's chance in getting those roles?
2) are there any good Canadian MBA programs you'd recommend?

I have cleared all the interviews for Walmart and salary negotiations are also done. A month ago the recruiter said that they are waiting on some approvals and once it is done we will be issuing the offer letter but I haven't heard back any other update since then. Am I getting rejected or is it normal to be on hold without any update for a month at this stage?

They have asked me to start the resignation process anyways but I am worried that If I don't get the offer letter then I might be out of a job. Also I want to wait to get appraisal letter before resigning so that I can negotiate a higher base with other companies. What should I do?

How's the condition of job market in Singapore as I have heard they offer around 20% hike while switching jobs.
