Cleared Synopsys interview (all rounds).
Now HR informed me that company wide hiring freeze happened. Hence, they are not rolling out offer to me.
They will roll out offer to me once this hiring freeze is lifted. (Possible in June end/July).

Question to folks (Ex- Synopsys/Current Synopsys people):
Is it true that I will be given offer once this hiring freeze is lifted?

Been in house for 5 years with current company (practice for 7), considering a move to a firm that is mid size but on big law pay scale - firm claims to be big on work/life balance. Currently working a ton and only making $140k + 20% bonus. Given how everyone dreams of moving in-house, am I crazy to move to a firm?

I feel like I'm at my wits end. I teach self-contained classes and according to the ISBE website my classes shouldn't be more than 8 students unless I have an aide - then it can be 10. I have no aide and most of my classes are around 14 kids. Some with behavior plans that are only out of our behavior room setting for my class... Is anybody else out there going through illegal class sizes for self-contained? How are you dealing? Maybe a vent session is in order.

Got two offers: one from a V100 firm that is essentially the best in the practice area that I’m in. The other is a mid-sized that is offering approximately 33% more in base comp, but don’t have much of a rep in my practice area. Which should I take? What else should I consider?
