I’d say in the middle - 6% is high end and zero to 1% is low end in my experience.
My company matches 25% up to 6% of salary so 3% dollar for dollar is better than mine

Yes, because providing employees generous retirement benefits is akin to what Theranos did. I don’t think my company’s benefits are outside the norm in my industry. At Amgen (not where I work) I believe employees get 100% match up to 10-15% of their salary. Benefits are so much better outside of consulting for the most part.
