Hi, everybody, how is everyone one doing? The reason for my post is that last Thursday I was talking to a friend at a small business expo, she was telling me a horror story. A friend of hers having a hard time getting funding for her business. I was just wondering how many business owners are having the same problem with getting unsecure working capital for their business?

Why is it a horror story? There’s nothing horrific about not getting funding for a business. Happens to numerous people daily for various reasons. Disappointing? Yes, but not horrific.

What is horrific, are people believing they’re entitled to funding for a business with no collateral, and then exaggerate their disappointment by telling “horror” stories. 🙄

Bain & Company Ik this is a big ask for someone with little to no leverage but, how can freshers in advisory prepare to move to other countries (not necessarily USA) like Australia, New Zealand, etc.?

I feel like every company lies about “working your way up.” You’re never allowed to blatantly say that you don’t like your position and you’d like to transition to HR or Finance. It’s almost as if once you get in claims, you’re stuck.

If you’re a manager and you see an employee that wants to branch out into a different department, why would you keep them boxed in for 2+ years?

Are there some background mechanics that I’m missing?

Which PG is good near Bosch Global Software Technologies Bosch office in Baner Pune. I am about to join next month. I will be shifting from Nagpur, as it is hybrid model in Bosch.

I got offer in Bangalore FIS and my husband got an offer with one big company in Hyderabad. Both companies are currently WFH only but in future, I might have to consider moving to Hyderabad.
