I have **5.3 YOE** and have been with **Citi for the past 1 year** as a **C10 Officer (SDET - Test Automation)** with a **CTC of ₹18.3 LPA**.

I have a couple of questions:

* Is 5.3 YOE generally enough to be considered for a **C11** promotion within the same team?
* Is it okay to discuss a C11 promotion with my manager now?
* Are promotions at Citi only in **January**, or do they happen at other times as well?

According to the new Wage Rules, are companies giving Basic Salary as 50% of fixed Pay? Should we ask HR of our current company or the next company to actually do the same? Or the rule isn't a mandate and it's upon companies to follow it ?

I'm American, but my family is mostly Colombian. I was told my aunt and cousins would come here for 2 weeks. I discovered they were going to be paid to appear in a famous Hispanic TV show, where a "judge" receives a case, hears the plaintiffs and defendants and renders a verdict. This is one time selection and not reversible.
