I have **5.3 YOE** and have been with **Citi for the past 1 year** as a **C10 Officer (SDET - Test Automation)** with a **CTC of ₹18.3 LPA**.

I have a couple of questions:

* Is 5.3 YOE generally enough to be considered for a **C11** promotion within the same team?
* Is it okay to discuss a C11 promotion with my manager now?
* Are promotions at Citi only in **January**, or do they happen at other times as well?

Struggling with a friendship that has become toxic & fills me with anxiety. various factors have caused us to drift but it feels like nothing I say or do now is right. Hi all, asking on behalf of my SO. He’s currently in a backend engineer security role and wants to move into an infra related one. He’s in talks with his manager about moving internally in his current company but that is still in discussion. He just got an offer from another company for an infra role but they need an answer in the next week. How do you guys suggest he push for a decision from his manager about the internal move. Should he tell his manager he has another offer?
