However they keep hiring SpEd positions and offering more services for SoEd students because they say the need is greater. How can the needs for one end of the spectrum be greater than the other? Gifted ELA and art happen at the same time at my school. A student wants to attend the art class and do their online ELA work at another time. Both teachers are fine with that, but admin said "no!"
