I have 1 job offer that is an hour away and pays 45k, after negotiations (Research Associate Position at a University) .

However, there’s an opportunity to work at an Endowment Fund (Harvard/Yale/Stanford level). Would you recommend me to spend the next 3-4 years doing something that’s not directly VC related? Would it be hard for me to come back to the VC industry with this experience? Why or why not? Thank you so much for your time and help!

Has anyone else’s Corp cut services to G/T because of the pandemic? Mine has, and I am absolutely heartbroken for the kids. They need services now more than ever. However they keep hiring SpEd positions and offering more services for SoEd students because they say the need is greater. How can the needs for one end of the spectrum be greater than the other? Without laws, what can we do to ensure gifted students get the education they need and deserve? Suggestions?
