😂 this is too real

I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.

Was any of this discussed during your interviews or onboarding? Sounds like a fast track to burnout. I would address it sooner than later, especially due to family schedules. What hours were you originally hired on for?
No none of this was discussed .. I was not aware of this inflexibility
Oh gosh, I'm so sorry you were thrown into the fire like that. My only advice is to set boundaries early on! It sounds like you're doing amazing in the role, so talking to your supervisor about expected hours is a must! BTW, are you hourly or salaried? If you're working these extra hours, you definitely should be getting paid for them!!
Is there anyone else that can do the task?
If Yes: have a conversation stating that you are willing/able/available to do the “on-call” hours 2 set days a week, but that this task was not part of your employment agreement and you are not able to continue to do it everyday due to obligations outside of your set working hours.
If No: Have a meeting a discuss how you will adjust your work day to accommodate the hours you are expected to work. For instance — you can let them know that in order to accommodate for the required evening hours you will be blocking off time and unavailable from 3-5pm.
I work to live, not live to work. My team knows I am unavailable from 5-8pm due to having two young children — it has to be a true emergency for me to give up those hours with my kids. I pick up work later at night if needed, but my time with my kids in the evening is non-negotiable.
