Hi everyone, I wanted to ask why are all the companies hiring for Financial analyst or Investment banking analyst demanding CFA even for a entry level role with pay around 10k-15k , I wanted to pursue a job in this field to gain some experience and save up money to pay for the CFA exam but currently I'm hopeless,can anyone suggest what I should do, I've learned Financial modelling and financial analysis (also done job simulation)?

For people in consulting - do you often read books about project management and motivation? Would appreciate your recommendations (preferably the ones with more than one thought for the whole brick of text 🤨).

I'm an introverted person, like to keep to myself, focus on work, spend the rest of my time on family, gym etc. I've been told that I need to work on my communication and client relationship building skills. any books I can read? I don't follow pop. culture anymore, no longer actively follow team sports (but sporty myself) as I consider it bread and circus for the masses and don't rly enjoy work drinks... Am I doomed? Personally I am happy and love the work but fear for my career progression.

I love my job and have been doing it for years. My Principal is good to me as well! The problem is...the Paraprofessionals at my school are never recognized. You have Teachers Day, Secretaries Day, Principal's Day, etc. Paraprofessional Day comes and goes at my school every year with nothing mentioned to us. Paraprofessionals in my department (Sped) wear many hats on certain days and work extremely hard (mentally/physical)! Does anyone else get this treatment?

How many overtime hours pay did you all receive as an analyst? In my offer, it stated I will be eligible to receive overtime pay as a CDP analyst so how much more $$$ is that for the year? 3k? 5k? Etc
I’m currently deciding between Accenture and big 4 right now.

Why is it when I owe money to a state from my annual tax filings, if I don’t pay the full amount I get charged interest. But when they owe me, they ask for additional documentation and won’t pay me interest for them stonewalling me. Not much volatility y/y in earnings.

A couple months back, I had an offer for a BDR position that I ended up turning down but I really liked and connected with the manager. Is it worth it to reach out? I applied to other positions in the same company. What about reaching out to previous co workers at a different company? Not sure how to navigate this… please help.
