Hello, I am looking to make a career change that starts at a minimum 75K salary. The economy is tough right now and I can no longer afford to stay in my current role. I have a bachelors degree in Sociology with experience in managed care, utilization management, & clinical admin.. If we are in the red zone and failed both the sme interviews is what it meant performance exit or we will still be considered for an FTE? I have heard that people with both the sme failures are still pulled in the projects and are full time! Should we be in a hope or look out for other jobs?

Hi, this is a bit early but thought y’all might have some good insight. I’m exiting my current startup & have two offers on the table 1. A successful small startup in NYC doing PE/niche executive recruiting and 2. a fairly reputable PE consulting group in Austin. I’m going through the recruitment process at McKinsey for a middle/back office role (capabilities for a really cool space) but by the time I hear back, one of my offers won’t be on the table. Any advice on what’s best for MBA apps?

I received an offer from IBM Bangalore. However I saw openings at my preferred location Kochi only after the interviews. I called the HR after getting their point of contact mail and I asked if it's possible to switch. They said I'm already tagged to a project and that they'll check from their end if it can be done.

Anyone knows the chances of location being changed after receiving the offer and getting tagged to a project?

Junior corp associate at a V50 firm in NY. Just received offer a few days ago in Charlotte, a city I really want to live. However, the role is for cap mkts /asset securitization and esoteric assets, e.g., auto loans, railroad, etc. I value having some work life balance. I heard the hours in asset securitization / esoteric assets can be awful. The work is very complex / niche. Does this sound about right? What’s the best way to turn down a 2nd interview? During the 1st interview, I learned that the compensation for the role is not within the range that I am looking for and requires 400 more billable hours a year than what I bill now. I’d basically be laterally for my current salary just to bill 400 more hours. I also wasn’t aware that the local office was strictly ID. Firm website advertises lots of practice areas. Any advice? My concern with this platform has always been how they're engaging in DeFi to make profits with customer funds. That's how they offer things like "no fees on withdrawals" and APY rates above the competition. MATIC is becoming to valuable to risk leaving on this platform.
