Hi - I have donations given to Team Everest for Nov 2021 with receipt. But IBM AskHR says no support for donations tax exemption on Form 16. Thus, the donation isn't deducted on my Form 16. Can I now update the donation directly on E-filing.gov u/s 80G for exemption or will that cause an issue ? IBM

Please evaluate this initial offer for Apple ICT3. I think I was low balled, but I want to take more opinions. Currently Sr. MTS at VMware, received Apple ICT3. I was expecting to get to ICT4 but seems like team thinks upper end of ICT3 is more apt. Also, I think it is because I don’t have any counter offers yet.

Dude, to this day, it may not have paid much, but my job as a managed services provider (MSP) tech was by far the best job I had to get a feel for tech. You literally do just about everything; hardware, software, networking, cyber security, group policy management, setting up emails etc. It's a great opportunity to learn A LOT really quick, and get your feet wet and get an idea of what you want to do. If you can't land a higher paying gig, try to find an MSP to hire you and get a year or 2 or 3 under your belt. It'll be worth it.
Until then, definitely get your net+ and sec+, as it's great starting point in your career and let's you build a good foundation. Best wishes on your hunt.
Right now tech is seeing constant layoffs, I see more and more people lose the will to try to work in this industry anymore. The consensus seems the same everywhere, junior and senior devs alike are finding it increasingly more difficult and taking a lot longer to find positions. Do with that information what you will.

If you are open to contract roles, they are a good foot in the door. Also, find local managed service providers. Use your network. It's a very difficult market.
Accenture Federal is a great place to start but they don’t hire entry level cyber security so it’s worth it to take any entry level position you can get to get your foot in the door and then transition into cyber once you’re in and unskilled.
The bar is quite low for cyber talent at Accenture. They’re the definition of “send in the Irish”
I started as an Intern for 3 months while I'm college. I only made $10 an hour during the 3 months but I wanted to get my foot in the door.
It’s almost impossible to find a job in IT now.
As a traveling tech for DoD, it is worth it to get out of your comfort zone.
Try for something entry level at one of the many insurance companies in Hartford. Good luck!

1). Work at a job that gets you a clearance
2). Ladder from there
3). Learn to keep your personal politics away from the job. They are paying for results not opinions
