Today is my first day back at work (and first full day back in my physical office) after a few weeks off for parental leave. Needless to say, I am struggling to stay focused on anything other than wanting to go back home to my spouse and child.

I know I shouldn't take an emotional temperature on day one, but it has been more difficult being back than I anticipated. Any tips for navigating the waters for the first day/week/month back?

Had a cancelled FET then was put on BC. I got my period while on BC and am on day 7 changing a pad every 4 hours. Anyone experienced this? I’m thinking it’s the lining shedding from cancelled cycle

Omg what's happening to me? I keep having inception-like dreams.. This was the most intense one. I could feel everything I touched, the velvet walls, the lil nodes on the light switches, the chairs, I can hear ppl talking to me, asking qs, I said yes/no, felt the weight of someone when they sat down on the bed. But i couldn't see through my peripherals, double vision and snippets of what's in front of me. I just couldn't wake up. Leading me to sleep 3hrs in. so relieved I'm out rn. I live solo

My joining in both are in around May last week. Tomorrow my IBM pre onboarding HR will connect with me. Should I ask for a counter offer tomorrow itself?
Or should I ask 2 weeks before joining?
Many told me that companies revise CTC when the joining date is near, else they show less interest. So should I go for it now itself?

I have been working with Walmart for the past 14 months and have recently got an offer from Blackrock for 45 LPA.
Considering the recession and US market scenario, help me understand if it will be a good move to join BlackRock OR should I continue with Walmart with the current compensation.
