Hi fellow PMs. I use job alerts to keep an eye on new opportunities. I thought all job boards sent the same jobs, so I did an experiment:

- Signed up for “Senior Product Manager”, “Seattle” job alerts from Linkedin, Indeed, Glassdoor, and Google for Jobs
- Built a tool (JobBox.cc) to parse jobs from the emails for a week
- Made a visualisation

Of 294 new jobs, only 9 overlapped between any job boards!
With only one job alert, I would have missed out on 100+ new jobs.

I’ll just be honest, I’m having trouble keeping my temper with employees and sometimes customers. I know I need to fix this ASAP. Looking to hear some experiences from people who’ve overcome this issue.

Hi Fishes, I got an offer for Data analyst - SE at Samsung Research Institute Bangalore. There are lots of negative reviews. Is it worth joining with 2 YOE?

Medicaid plans are so dysfunctional. Has anyone else experienced this? I feel like I’m being gas lighted after working for big commercial enterprises and now working on a Medicaid plan. I’ve never seen so much resistance to change or legit resistance to doing anything to improve operations.

I'm working at a startup where I feel like I've spent as much time trying to deal with product issues vs working on roadmap items. I get this is bound to happen in a start up but is this common? I'm not sure what to do. It seems like no one really thought about the architecture or ux as much as they should have in my opinion. I need some advice.

A colleague told me today that Google separates Product Manager and Product Owner as two separate roles. I believe that one PM role is preferred in the industry and most modern software companies, especially FAANG companies, only have PMs. Just curious what others have experienced and if I'm correct in my assumption.
