I was a Manager at a Big4 doing PM fed work earlier this year. I decided to join a small firm to pursue cloud sales. However, the position is extremely technical in nature and I'm required to speak tech ( kubernetes, openshift, CICD) to potential clients.
While I have learned from the exposure, I dont intend to continue in a tech role & looking to exit. I'm thinking of Customer/ Partner Success Manager roles with one of the CSPs. Are there other non tech cloud exit opps in industry to consider?

Senior engineer making 135k and I was offered a promotion to engineering manager after completing a development plan. Near the end of the plan and I expect compensation talks to start soon. I work at a small, 3 lawyer firm. One of the lawyers is not barred in the state we practice. Because of this, the managing attorney has been having him draft motions and other legal documents and use my name and bar number and having me file them because I will have to appear in court for the matter. Is this normal? I am not provided time to review the materials before I file them so I end up working longer days because I am nervous to file something using my name and bar number.

Has anybody experience in giving up the LPR status after leaving the US for work and residency in another country/homecountry?
