Hey y’all, any insight/thoughts/experience on Third and Grove (TAG) out of Boston you can share? Just got hit up for a role there.
What is it like working as a strategist/brand planner for a newspaper/publishing company? (e.g., NYT’s T Brand Studio) Would love insight if anyone has experience.

When will people stop calling it the coronavirus. The virus is not called coronavirus... there are many other strains of coronaviruses besides Covid-19. That is all. Kthx
This may be the most impactful spot Ive ever seen. Setting aside the politics of gun control for just a moment, I’m curious what people think of the approach:
What’s everyone’s take on unlimited PTO? Our agency is moving to this but I actually hate the concept/benefit. No one takes time off as it is and I think it allows for overworking and passive aggressive judgement.
Any thoughts on Matte Projects? They seem cool, would love to know what people think about them and if you have worked there. What’s the culture like!
What's the culture and vibe like at Manifest in Chicago? Stable environment with leadership team you can respect. Give me the skinny - the good, bad and the ugly!
I see a lot of people complain about how shitty the industry is (and it's well deserved). But let's hear from those who love their job. Tell us why you're happy in advertising.
Are the lions that important for business or are they important for stroking somebody’s ego?
I saw this on LinkedIn from an ECD and the third point is really bugging me. Part of an ECD’s job is figuring out which creatives to put on which assignments. CDs and ECDs know which creatives they give better opportunities to, and while they may or may not be correct in their decisions, pretending that they aren’t giving someone worse opportunities just seems like self-serving dishonesty, no?
Did the Grand Prix winning Dove campaign commission those Covid portraits or did they already exist?
GenZs are cringing at how much paper we waste. Is your agency still printing decks for everyone in the room (pre-pan obviously)? I haven't done that since 2016.
Been full-time my entire career. Freelance terrifies me but I am so sick of feeling stuck. Thanks for listening.
If your company says they champion diversity, then they should do so. I’m tired of all this talk and no action. Any agencies out there that actually put their money where their mouth is?
Bye bye SXSW. ☹️ I wasn’t planning on going, so it’s not about that for me, but this is one of a few cancellations that translates to a bad economic situation and points to a potential recession.
The more I watch 90 Day fiancé, the more I realize it’s not about visas, or love for that matter. It’s about the desperation of people in low socioeconomic situations who want to do anything to either 1) get out of said situation and/or 2) feel some sense of hope. Just hits different with this new realization.
No raise? Sadly, you are not alone. https://www.washingtonpost.com/amphtml/business/2018/11/30/surprisingly-high-number-americans-getting-absolutely-no-raises/
Just moved to industry, got a 20% raise, plus 10% bonus. Oh, and they go home at noon on Fridays. See ya public... it's been real.
BAH Associates - Opinions on a salary in the low 80s for an associate with a bachelors degree and ~5 years consulting experience? Federal market.
How to maximize getting SPG points?
Can anyone in Deloitte cyber risk answer why I might have gotten rejected? An application review analyst reached out to me after I was referred to apply and asked about my travel preferences, citizenship, and if I had at least 2 years of experience post grad. I said I’ve been at Kpmg for a year and have 1 year of internship experience in total. Was the 2 years minimum really a deal breaker? I’ve been on cyber projects at Kpmg
I have an interview with Deloitte within the cost transformation and restructuring practice. Can someone tell me what the case studies are like so I can prepare accordingly? Thanks.
Is wfh for consulting sustainable? What are you missing the most from not being on client site? I miss the access to client teams on the fly and white boarding sessions.
So. Is in-house worth the £10K less salary?
Have an offer in hand for an AmLaw100 lockstep. Corporate / M&A mid level associate. Didn’t use a recruiter (attorney referral from inside firm). Mostly satisfied with the offer. Procedurally how should I go about negotiating things like signing bonus, full bonus vs pro rated bonus / Covid bonus eligibility? Obviously this would normally be done recruiter to recruiter. Do I contact the internal recruiter or one of the head partners I interviewed with? Email vs call?
Can you quit the old company before the new company starts the H1B transfer? They advised not to, but I want to go home and chill
Generally does MBB referrals need to come from the same office you're applying to? I guess it would be a stronger case
Any unused delta drink vouchers?
I'm one of the lower utilized assoc. up for promo this year due to fact the clients I've worked on are no longer with PwC. However I have done acting senior roles in the past and got good review (cont
