I am about to get an offer from intel cpu team as cpu physical design engineer (Grade 8) with 20% hike from current base and cash component and joining bonus is almost similar to current RSUs I have. Current org Synopsys.

I wanted to check how is Intel cpu team, were there layoffs and no increment in this team as well ? I heard cpu team is doing well. Any planned layoffs ? And hike % given yearly? Intel Corporation Qualcomm Synopsys Inc. MediaTek Nvidia Samsung Cadence Design System

I regret not applying to Harvard. I never thought I’d get into a top school and then got into wharton with a 100k fellowship - which changed my entire perspective. It sucks thinking “what if…”. I just didn’t have the confidence and thought wharton was a reach so why bother with H/S 🙃 hope this inspires someone to just shoot their shot - you never know

I already resigned and have 2 months to join new company. A company has made an offer and I wanted to understand if i'm being made a fool.

The monthly compensation is 1,37,500 (16,50,000 yearly) and Variable component (Bonus) is 1,50,000.

However in the offer it says "You shall be paid an annual compensation of Rs. 16,50,000/- per annum Cost to Company."

Which to me sounds like it doesn't consider 1,50,000 to be a part of CTC which is suspicious to me.

How should I deal with this?

Hi everyone. Is it typical for the attorney to take credit for the work a paralegal does? An example: I gave some ideas about deposition questions and some observations I made (I was asked about giving suggestions) regarding a witness and the attorney mentioned that he’s the one that had these great questions/observations.
