I initiated the BGV on 1st March, but I have not received any update or query from First Advantage in the last two weeks. My joining date is approaching soon—what should I do in this case?
I also checked with my colleague from my current organization to see if First Advantage had contacted him for background verification, but he has not received any calls or emails from them.

Could someone learn acting without attending formal classes?

Who else here feels like the entire restaurant industry deserves an overhaul? We rely on tips because it's basically assumed that everyone will tip, but in reality there are people who tip very little or just don't at all. I have 9.5 yrs of experience and am currently level 62 in Microsoft. I feel I should be Senior SE in Microsoft (level 63) but when I got microsoft offer last year the HR said it is the maximum they can give. Fixed base is 28 LPA. There is an upcoming appraisal cycle in September, so I wanted to ask how much can I expect Microsoft to adjust the base salary in this appraisal cycle ( given my performance was decent) ?
