I’m interviewing next week for a solutions engineer at a company I really like, which I mistakenly applied for as I saw they needed ReactJS, JavaScript, HTML/CSS. Upon reading the job description, it’s clear I will be doing a lot of sales and client consulting over actually coding. I know they have a FE SWE role open. Currently a senior 3 at EY and hope to get promoted to manager next year by October. Is it better to move over to BCG after promotion as a project leader? Or would that not be a lateral move as a EY manager?
